Shaun Donovan has done a decent job, AND he has managed to avoid any Scandals at HUD, but the O-Team has to find a spot for the Latino Rising Star ..... Julian Castro, the Mayor of San Antonio.

Julian probably thought he would have a shot at the Governor or Lt Governor of Texas, but the blonde Bombshell, Wendy Davis snagged the Governor's campaign right out from under him with her Pink Tennis Shoes fake Filabuster. Julian was a featured speaker at the Dem's Convention in 2012 and high on the "future" list for an "important" position. Donovan OUT and Castro in. In view of the Texas primaries - Castro should have stood his ground for a TOP job in Texas. The "War on Women" won out over the "War on Latinos" in this particular case.

It's essential that the Dems do this before they possibly lose the Senate and can't get Castro confirmed.
Julian Castro is being given the job to raise his profile and resume because he'll be picked for VP if Hillary or Bidden runs for president. Donovan is NOT out, he's just moving over to another position. And people shouldn't be so quick to kiss Jay Carney goodbye. He'll have a presence in D.C. come this fall.

Carney sees the Obama ship sinking, and is getting out when he can, before more damage is done to his already tattered reputation.

Carney has looked stressed as he had to defend the indefensible, evade questions, and otherwise cover the president’s derriere. Obviously he and his wife ABC’s Claire Shipman need a vacation.

Oh, that's right, my bad....he negotiated the trade of that job for the Chicago Mayorship.....not the press secretary.

So, the press sec is worth less but should still be fairly lucrative for him.

Better make sure they supply newspapers in Obama's favorite White House restrooms along with toilet paper.

Its really hard to keep all of Obama's miss steps in good form. This is the deal.
Mr.. Carney knows what really goes on and is frankly tired of manufacturing a release vs. just saying the truth.

Its all good Jay, I look forward to the book!

It is not easy covering up for the bumbling Obama administration. Lies upon lies.. Jay is worn out and looks it too.

The next guy has to be trained well in sidestepping the truth. The coverup continues.

You are not suggesting Carney was any better than Gibbs?

Quite right. And Carney had a very tough job that he did well.
