USDA Creating $1.9 Million Research Center Devoted to Changing American

18- To 34-Years-Olds Living With Parents - Business Insider
There are about 320 million Americans in the US, but there is nowhere near 80 million food stamp recipients. The highest number of food stamp recipients was about 42 million, and it's gone down since.

Stop spreading lies.

Does Laura not consider the obvious - that some of them may be being directly negatively impacted by the economy than most Americans? I'm assuming that not everyone on food stamps wants to be on food stamps. I'm also assuming that not every adult child living at home wants to be.

Employee labor is a liability, so it should be as low as the law allows.

Speaking of law, the minimum wage hasn't been adjusted since 2009. The same companies forcing the OP to pay for Joe Mooch's Food Stamps have spent millions of dollars lobbying against minimum wage increases. Perhaps the OP should direct his anger towards the real perpetrators.
Minimum wage was never meant to be a living wage.

Your argument doesn't work.

Why are 47 million Americans on food stamps? It’s the recession

This was 09/23/13.

If a business cannot afford to pay a full time employee a living wage in any given metropolitan area then that business shouldn't exist.

Guess what group of Americans is the largest recipient of food stamps and other taxpayer supported aid. Just guess.

Why wouldn't you be a survivalist? You know for centuries most of the worlds people stored food and had knowledge on how to live without government assistance and the food stamp system. They all must have been crazy I guess.

One EMP, one nuke in NYC, one nasty disease and its all over folks with how we Americans are dependent on government. Tinfoil I think can be reserved for the government supporters thinking 17 trillion in debt is really is going to be around much longer.

corporate taxes are 28% one of the highest in world.
Make the corporate tax 5%, Nothing to write off, the cost of running a business is the cost of business, but not much income taxes to pay.

Writing off that all your software programs you had to buy is some how a tax deduction is a joke that is like saying I can write off my car payment to get to work.

Businesses usually make decisions for the business not what will be a tax write off at the end of the year.
