If they make about the same as burger flippers, what makes you think they're more intelligent? I'd wager the burger flippers are more intelligent because the work is much easier, the pay is similar, and they don't have to waste a lot of time learning more things.
Okay, maybe I could have phrased that better. They may or may not be more intelligent. But generally speaking, someone who goes into anything to do with the medical field, has a better chance of expanding their financial expectations. And it's never a waste of time to learn more things.
