Global economy. It's much easier to get rich when you have all the benefits, and protections provided by the US, but you can send the work overseas, and pay your employees a few dollars a day, and not have to bother with those pesky labor laws.

I am not a welfare cheerleader
the post i was initially responding asked why are there poor obese people?
i responded chips and soda are cheaper than salad and milk
as to this cost comparison
I was speaking to the topic of MW workers not getting enough to eat
they are working all the time and not being paid to enuff or given a long enuff lunchbreak to go buy a head of lettuce for lunch and or lug a GALLON of milk back to their register
so they go to the vending machine and buy a 50 cent bag of chips and wash it down with a 99 cent soda and back to the grind
Why all the focus on this?
are you teabaggers deflecting from the FACT that minimum wage workers cant afford food without food stamps whicH YOU pay for because their employers wont?
ITS NO SECRET THAT HEALTHY FOOD IS EXPENSIVE COMPARED TO CHEAPER ALTERNATIVES
You are clearly mad at the wrong people
these FS recipients are working FULL TIME,,,and still qualify for your tax money because their employers wont pay them enuff to cover basic life necessities SO WHY ARE YOU MAD AT THEM?
