Do you know how many birds are killed in the US by flying into buildings each year? 100 million to a billion is the estimate...Birds killed by domestic cats, 1.4 to 3.7 billion.....Between 140,000 and 328,000 birds die each year from collisions with wind turbines.

I say get rid of domestic cats

In the conservative alternative reality windmills are the top killer of birds.

In the real world, not so much.

Yes we know all of that, so this makes it permissible to kill thousands more, to include eagles, out in their natural habitat? We did not build skyscrapers in the wilderness where eagles live, we built giant windmills in their habitat, and then turn a blind eye because stupid pigeons fly into buildings in our metropolitan areas.

DDT? You really want to go down the that road, after all the new studies that debunked all the lies, corrupted science and myths surrounding DDT?

Solar arrays are killing birds too.

World's largest solar farm is SCORCHING BIRDS that fly over it | Mail Online

Environmentalists have hit out at a giant new solar farm in the Mojave Desert as mounting evidence reveals birds flying through the extremely hot 'thermal flux' surrounding the towers are being scorched.

After years of regulatory tangles around the impact on desert wildlife, the Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System opened on Thursday but environmental groups say the nearly 350,000 gigantic mirrors are generating 1000 degree Fahrenheit temperatures which are killing and singeing birds.

Our cities encroach on our wildlife, shrinking their already limited habitats. So now we are building solar and wind farms directly in their habitats, but it's okay with you, because gee golly wow, other things were already killing some birds.

Where are these eagles, and migratory birds supposed to go now? Are you going to relocated them?

I'm glad to hear that conservatives suddenly care about wildlife conservation.
