It was well-known. It was the reason the First Lady of Arkansas had to WORK for a living. Because the governorship at the time only paid $35,000/year, about the same as a reporter working for the Washington Post made at that time. There were many Arkansans who felt that the First Lady shouldn't work, that her responsibility was to the state. Just as there were many Arkansas who were offended that the First Lady of Arkansas didn't go by her married name. It was a political issue. She couldn't give up work, since they needed the money. She did change her name to her husband's.
Somebody had to pay for wild bill's condoms.

Diane asks really HARD questions. Like, "what would you say to Monica?"

And, "How's your marriage these days?"

And the inevitable, "How's your health?"

I'll probably watch simply because I enjoy a good nonsensical circle jerk.

The hype is pathetic. Summer viewing, I guess.

And poor Diane. I guess her mother never told her if she didn't stop making those ugly faces, her face would freeze that way. The wrinkled, scrunched up look of intense concern, yada yada yada.

Ain't politics fun?
Sheet. You'd probably give your eyeteeth to look that good at her age.

If you think you wait forever for a nurse now, it's going to get worse.
Really? How?

Silly old woman!

It's not the puff piece I expected. Lots there to drag back to the forefront.

My prediction: She's not running. She wouldn't allow some of this and have to answer to it later if she were going to run.

But...it's only half over. Still lots more to nail her on, if need be.

Silly old woman.
This is why she's going to get elected. First - you're going to pi$$ off all the women. Second- Repubs are going to run another sad sack candidate like Mittens.

How much did she earn as a member of the Board of Directors at Wal-Mart at the time? I know....

Really! and right now we have a ignorant fool running this Country, and know what most people don't give a damn period?

I know many women who do not like her, and believe she would not be good at running the Country. Highly intelligent women who can't be bought or brainwash. And have decent occupations making decent money.

Frankly many people I know don't trust a Clinton Period, and that is their right and your right to believe in her. Seeing her in action I don't trust her and that is my right.

I do love how your links all try to argue that since she isnt broke in 2014, that means she isnt broke now. LOL Straw man at its best, or should i say worst.

Oh yeah I remember when Bill & Hill lived out on the street homeless after leaving the WH.

Talk about a straw man.

Took loans, gifts?
Shuffled funds around?

I cry for them.

She got an $8 Million signing advance for her book in December 2000. Adjusting for inflation, that is $11 Million. A month before her year of being "dead broke."

During her year of "struggling" in 2001, they averaged $1,000,000 in income every 17 days.

As a current US Senator married to a former President they got free transportation, free office space, free staff, free healthcare, free security, free etc....

They finished their year of being "dead broke" with over $30 Million in assets, $5 Million in debts.

And you hear mindless Democrat sheep insisting she was "dead broke" and "struggling" in 2001.

How can she recover from that? It's almost a mockery of people who actually have to work hard to make ends meet when this privileged elitist who made millions on all those Whitewater scams and lived at taxpayer expense all those years in the White House can't budget her big money.
