''Rep. Paul Ryan pledged Friday night that House Republicans will investigate President Barack Obama’s deal to secure the release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.''
''For now, he said, the Senate is a “graveyard of good ideas” and Republicans must focus on aggressive oversight as their best bet to hold Obama accountable.''
“I’m part of the IRS investigation,” Ryan told about 600 people in a ballroom at the Hotel Roanoke. “We’ve got the Benghazi investigation, the Veterans Affairs investigation, and we’re going to do an investigation about this troop transfer with the Taliban. So we’ve got a lot on our plate.”
AKA --- Bhwaaaaaa, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, snort, cough, cough, hic, ha, ha, ha.....
They say things like this but nothing ever comes of it. Either start the impeachment proceedings or stop getting everyone's hopes up with these passive investigations where nothing ever happens.
There is nothing phony......this is just another scandal on top of the pile of many other scandals that have happened under President Obama.
Why do Obama defenders and Democrat loyalists keep trying to brush everything under the rug? The pile is too big to ignore and the American People have had enough and we want answers!
Add it to the long--and ever-growing--list. Virtually everything the Republicans have done since Obama was elected falls into the "dog and pony show" category. They have become the party of dog and pony shows.
It doesn't matter to the right that Ryan has nothing. "Having nothing" has not deterred Darrell Issa in the least. In fact, his most famous long-running show has yet another sequel in the works. Why should having no basis for an investigation stop Ryan when that tactic has worked so well for achieving its goal, which is to keep the far right frothing at the mouth in outrage?
The continuous GOP dog and pony shows serve their purpose well. Reading this board is a testament to that.
There is no "dog and pony show." You should actually read and understand what bills the Republicans have sent to the Senate where Harry Reid throws them in the waste-paper basket and stops them. What the Republicans have passed and sent on to the Senate are to either stop the Dems from doing something stupid, wrong for America or unconstitutional plus the investigations are to get to the truth and uncover all the lies from those who are involved in or created the problem to begin with.
The 30 day notification is unconstitutional. Congress can't tell the CIC what battlefield decisions - including the disposition of prisoners he can make. It is an obvious affront to executive powers. It is as simple as that. Obama should have emphatically stated that on day one.
Obama is so very much and totally unfit to serve as CoC, he should just keep his mouth shut and do absolutely nothing UNLESS he is told by our Military what is the right thing to do and orders only what he is told. He has also fired or forced to retire most of our higher Military leadership with experience and brains who had the courage to tell BO when he is wrong...Wow!
His own decisions are stupid, dangerous and have put not only our soldiers in grave danger but also America and every citizens living here at home.
My point was how many posts would it take before a liberal would clim it is a phony scandal
