The same people reading the emails are in the machines. Diebold is institutionally held, they were getting too much bad publicity so they had to sell off the voting aspects. Ironic they were/are a security company.

The handful of companies all appear to be private from capital investments.

While the dumbed-down sheep among us bicker about partisan BS those of us with half a brain need to be paying attention!

An April 2009 DHS intelligence assessment listed returning vets as likely domestic terrorists. Just a month later, the New York Times reported on how Boy Scout Explorers were being trained by the DHS to kill “disgruntled Iraq war veterans” in terrorist drills.

The FBI has also repeatedly characterized returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan as a major domestic terrorist threat.

It seems to have been completely forgotten by police departments, the media and Americans in general that having military-style tanks patrol the streets is symbolic of a collapsing banana republic or an authoritarian Communist state.

Perhaps the main reason why police officers are being trained that veterans are a major threat is because returning vets are in a perfect position to recognize that America is beginning to resemble an occupied country like Afghanistan.

Such warnings have come from people like former Marine Corps Colonel Peter Martino, who was stationed in Fallujah and trained Iraqi soldiers. Martino went before a New Hampshire city council meeting last year to assert that the Department of Homeland Security is working with law enforcement to build a “domestic army,” because the federal government is afraid of its own citizens.
Your complaining about law enforcement serving certain warrants with their guns drawn. But if you knew anything about law enforcement procedures, you would know police carry out these procedures to keep the criminals, themselves, and the public safe.

Example. Often times when the police go to arrest someone the subject gets paranoid, scared, and gets a adrenalin rush. This can cause the subject to panic, shoot at police, expose the public to gun fire, or take hostages. Police serve certain warrants in large numbers and with quick non-lethal force so no one gets hurt.

Your talking about SWAT teams being the bad guys, but lets talk about how many incidents SWAT teams respond to each year, and how many people get hurt each year. SWAT teams are the best of the best, and some of our nations finest Americans.

America's republicans are moving deeper and deeper into a delusional, conspiracy filled, and fact-less fantasy word.

Your complaining about our military investigating possible terrorists in the US military. But terrorists are infiltrating our military, should we just allow terrorists to freely be members of the US military?

Then you said that America is beginning to resemble an occupied country like Afghanistan, and you believe our police and military are the bad guys. But the bad guys are people like the (insane) people who did the 74+ school shootings since the Newtown school shootings.

Map: There have been at least 74 shootings at schools since Newtown

This is the result of a military build up and our industrial military complex. Nothing to do with building a domestic army.... that's just paranoid crap.

Notice the gun turret on top ?

How would you like one or two of these babies descending on your property along with camo geared and armed SWAT members because of "permit" or "license" issues ?

Or maybe you like the "Desert Sand" colors.
Tanks do not have wheels. These are armored vehicles...

LOL for their protection. Theyre serving no knock warrants even in nonviolent crimes. Kicking in peoples doors with weapons drawn is not for anyone's protection except for police. More people are killed by police thsn these shooters you speak of. Im sorry but you speak nonsense.

I certainly agree with Italy. I had no problems with the French cops at all. Ive heard things about Eastern European cops that agree with your post as well.

It's called the US drug war! A police state for drugs and a police state for terrorism.

The French Local Police are okay, it's mainly units such as the Gendarmerie Mobile and Compagnies Républicaines de Sécurité (CRS) that are notorious for their heavy handed approach. It should also be noted that Gendarmeries are in essence soldiers and often are posted to war zones. The Spanish Guardia Civil, who I also would trust and the Italian Carabinieri being another example, in fact I wouldn't trust most of the police in Southern and Eastern Europe.

Instead of whining why don't you become a police officer and fix the system?
Are you scared too?

And yes police do kill people sometimes, but that's just the sad reality of living in a gun, gang, and poverty infested country like America.

And lets look at who the police are killing.
List of killings by law enforcement officers in the United States, January 2014 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They are killing people who shot at them, killing mentally insane individuals going after their mothers with screw drivers, killing robbers trying to stab police officers, killing car thieves, ex.ex.

But a few 100% innocent people do get killed, and its unfortunate but everyone makes mistakes. Doctors make mistakes, military pilots make mistakes, careless drivers make mistakes (and so do police officers.)

And I have been stopped by the police many times in my life, and I have never had any problems (but I respect the police.)

Most police killings would not happen if those people did what they were supposed to do. Like turn off their vehicles and keep their hands on the steering wheel when pulled over, stop running when police tell them too, or lay on the ground when the police tell them too, ex.ex.
