But they are on the run, and the core cell was decimated.

Wrong tense being that Iraq was stable before Saddam was deposed.

Inform us what you would have done. I assume that you were against our troops leaving Iraq? Perhaps you would have shipped more troops in? Have us still in Iraq to this day?

I was all for our getting out (of course, I felt we should never had gone in). It is horrid what is happening, but we can't police the world.

The Iraq government (such as it is) is requesting that we use our Air Force and drones to fight the Islamic militant army. Are you for that? It is time to let us know, before the White House makes a definitive answer.

Or perhaps you were for some type of 'negotiation' with these Islam militants? Or for providing the (worthless) Iraqi army with even more military supplies?

It is easy to whine. I would be interested in what you would do.

"War gains lost"?

What gains? Whose gains? The war was perhaps the greatest self-inflicted wound in the history of American foreign policy.

The Iraq War will go down in history as the USA's worst foreign policy mistake. That will be George W. Bush's legacy.

It doesn't matter who is president when Iraq falls because it will eventually fall regardless of what the USA does. If you are too blinded by partisanship to see that, then there's no point in having a rational discussion with you.
