What happened to this idea when we wasted so much bailing out the banks?
You'd have to ask those in charge. I'm all for a helping hand when times are tough, though they created the tough times. I believe the bailout was necessary, even though they created the issue. The fines levied on the banks should be astronomical if they ever create such a situation again. If you can illegally make $10,000, get caught and fined only $100, what is stopping you from doing it again?
What does America have to do with gas prices in Quebec? I wish we had the benefit of Canada's lower drug prices. Obama made a good deal with the drug companies, for their profitable benefit in exchange for them supporting and advertising his disaster aka the ACA, but that is another subject.
