Okay, what would you have done? If your solution is to send more American troops into those areas then say so. How long and how many American lives is this meddling in the middle east worth? A this is strawman argument. If this type of argument was used, in for instance the fight against CFCs, the chemicals that caused ozone depletion, the world would have done nothing.
