It has been scanned with the best 'paid for' scanners!

Obama is not a good president. I don't think that's because of liberalism, which technically the founding fathers were liberal, in it's classical sense. I don't necessarily think voting conservative is the answer. I think it's a bit more complicated than that. Theoretically, a liberal could 'save' this country. So could a conservative. Sticking to the constitution shouldn't be an exclusively conservative or liberal endeavor, which is apparently has become one. Elected officials of both parties have violated our constitution in some way. I don't see the point in trying to guess which one did it more as saying one side has done it less doesn't make them moral. However, to judge the entire party by selecting the wrong doers of the party is wrong. Don't judge liberalism off of Obama and don't judge conservatism off of Bush.

The solution is really simple: vote for better people. Don't restrict yourself to Republican or Democrat. There are many more parties. Take action. Stand up for what you believe in. If you're a socialist, let everyone know. If you gain support and win the votes, good for you! You earned it. Don't count on that happening, but if it does, it's only fair. We believe whatever we hear. Too many people think the world is as black and white as the media tells us it is. People need to learn to care. To have passion in politics. That's the only way things will get better.

It is also mathematically impossible to pay off our debt. Our money isn't technically our money. To get money, we get it from the Federal Reserve, and sadly, we buy the money from them because they are not actually federal. They are a private company. Point being, we buy the money from them and therefor, will always owe them money. Unless we change the system, which wouldn't exactly be an inexpensive process either.

I do want to point out one more thing: listen to Rush? No, never listen to Rush. He's a nut job. He supports torturing war prisoners which is a violation of constitutional rights. He's scientifically illiterate, and has a stupidly hypocritical view of 'family values.' Ask anyone of his ex-wives. Do not listen to Rush. This country has lost all intelligent people the day Rush becomes the voice of reason.

I totally agree.

Government is not the solution. Government is the problem.
