Today, the U.S. soccer team defeated Ghana, a team that calls itself the Black Stars.
Given the hypersensitivity that liberals such as John Wiley Price have to anything that contains the word "black", the obvious question would be "is the Ghanians nickname racist?"
Also, the New Zealand soccer team created a bit of a row in the last World Cup because they are known as the "All-Whites", because of their distinctive uniforms.
The 2010 World Cup was held in South Africa, a nation that has experienced significant racial strife, so of course someone got "offended".
What would be the reaction if a team named themselves the "White Stars"?
Harrier, there is already a football club (soccer) called the white stars. The reaction is pretty minimal and is a nonissue... I don't know why some people see so much racism against whites when in reality it is very rare...
Harrier wants to know why Ghana can call themselves the Black Stars but a white commissioner in Dallas can't compare central collections to a black hole.
He also wants to know what would be the reaction to a team that named themselves the White Stars.

Today is not your day.
You've made some lame threads, but this one is hard to top.

Haha... his threads are like home videos w/ a dad, his kid, and a whiffle ball bat. You know what's going to happen, the only question is how painful is it going to look.

Harrier has no doubt that it is painful for you when he hits a home run right over your head.
"Hey now, you're a Black Star, get your game on, go play...
Hey now, you're a White Star, get the show on. get paid".
