If you don't care, then why are you here?

My wife is the city clerk where we live. An auditor came in and told her she would have to start charging the pants the city provides for the police officers as a benefit as they didn't have a stripe down the leg. She asked if they ordered pants with a stripe down the side if these would then be O.K. They would be.

This is the kind of crap the IRS enforces against people but yet they don't want to be held accountable to the law.

As long as the Republicans are expected to make gains in Congress nothing is likely to happen.

Who said I didn't care? I just realize there are more important things in life that obsessing over every little fictional scandal people drum up to keep simple minds occupied. Did you do anything meaningful with family this weekend outside of follow every word Paul Ryan has to say about another fictional scandal?

That is the scary part. If government gets away with this it will get much worse. Nothing like having the power of the IRS which can destroy lives to use against the people.

This isn't about Paul Ryan.

It is about the IRS. It is about how anyone can be expected to believe that the IRS doesn't have all that email on servers or backups.

It is about how gullible people believe what the IRS says when it claims to have lost email.

The IRS doesn't lose email. They have a record of every email ever sent to or from them, from anyone including their employees.

Please pay attention.

Congress had inquired to the IRS about its procedures and asked for emails back in 2011 just days before the IRS had 7 IRS employees lose their emails.
