You guys keep pulling off this weird trick where you move the goalposts depending on which testament something is written in.
We say that "Jesus doesn't discuss homosexuality," and you answer back that Jesus said "my father's commandments are my commandments." (a commandment from the Old Testament of course)
So then, we ask why then don't you follow Old Testament laws and restrictions, and your answer is always that you're freed from doing so because "that was in the Old Testament and Jesus gave us new laws."
So all of a sudden, his father's commandments AREN'T his commandments...Jesus made up his own new commandments. SMH
This is why arguing with believers is pretty much pointless.
I will only support this if the Presbyterian church sends their divestments from Israel and into purchasing property in Saudi Arabia so churches can be built there.
Israel is a state composed of occupation, apartheid, racism, and Palestinian blood. Requesting it be dismantled does not mean its residents are going to be thrown into the sea as Israel-lovers who use your argument always insist. Rather, it means its system must be destroyed. It means that the millions of Palestinians kicked out of Palestine would be allowed to return, and Jews and Arabs (Christians and Muslims) would coexist in one state as equals. In other words, yes, ideological Zionism would die, but only because it's racist and like it did in South Africa, apartheid in Israel has to go.
