I'd like to see the fallout from the GOP letting a false rumor slip through 3rd parties that the actually have the emails.

But someone in america has to stand firm on its values, and i'm willing to do that.

I think it's just as important because you don't lose data like that without sever physical damage to the platter or it was corrupted on purpose before the technicians got to it.

Yeah..the chances of that happening are very slim.
I guess Lerner just had a streak of bad luck that the emails were in the corrupted sector and those were the very emails that Congress wanted to see.

Just chalk it up to "bad luck" and let's move on is what the IRS wants to do.
I think the DOJ will back up the IRS.

Elijah Cummings was on Al Sharpton's show and said it's all over, case closed, let's move on.

Sure it does. It's about backup. Just as mine was "lost," so, too, are the IRS e-mails. Glitches occur, or are made.

With technology now it should be pretty much impossible to "lose" data.

We haven't heard that yet but emails from Lerner and 7 who she communicated with are "lost" from any backup tapes.

Next we'll be hearing that the 7 also had hard drive crashes or got new computers and their old data deleted.
