Of course liberals say guns don't save lives, so they'll probably claim it didn't happen or just ignore it because no one was shot. Probably a good thing the criminal didn't get shot and killed the left would use it as one more "gun violence" statistic.
But I've seen the media report on a lot of stories like this.

Ah, Hispanics in a light blue van. I'm surprised it wasn't two big black men.

wish liberals would understand that and take self defense of themselves and their families more on themselves than relying on the police to come to their aid.
It's 2014. You think you're telling us something new?

Just imagine how many more deranged gun owners are there seeking fame.
And in most such cases, firing your concealed gun will mostly lead to unintended casualties. Can you tell who the shooter is in a crowded mall?
BTW, is it only a coincidence that no other nation (including China, Russia and India) suffer from so many crazy shootings?
No, the emphasis is on INSANE. And you're right, the answer is obvious. Lock up the insane somewhere then can't prey on innocent people. But we're not willing to do that any more.

at least we do not blame the gun like liberals do. when in fact the gun never commits the crime, the criminal does.

Why would you assume it was two black men? Racist much?

No license plate number, no cell phone photo, no police report. I call BS as do many in that link.

Really? Do you "call BS" on all crime victims? When a person has to defend their life and the life of their little girl, I doubt that pulling out a cell phone and taking a picture of the criminal is the first thing that comes to mind.

I call BS because it makes no sense. Guy in vans aren't driving around public parks trying to forcibly abduct children and kill their fathers. It's an isolated park with 1 long access road. A 911 phone call could have led to their interception and capture but there is no claim that he ever reported this alleged incident to police or that there is even a police report.
