Ironic. I just finished reading in the local paper that she rented a house in my neighborhood for the month of August. At $200K for the month, I think she is confused about the definition of "well off".

Actually she looks foolish whenever she speaks, but I agree with you. She is out of touch with most middle class and below and pretending to get it only makes it look more fabricated. Much like Obama she struggles with the truth.

She needs just come out and say it. "Im rich and proud of it. We didnt do much to earn the millions we have but damn it Im proud to be rich" Just say it already. Meaningless speeches and books are why you are wealthy. Admit you're proud of it and stop with the liberal hypocritical nonsense.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!

Are you sure it wasn't $20K and why would she be renting a place when she has a $10 million place in NYC? That's crazy.

I think this is a little off base. I'm not a big fan, but whether you like them or not, they worked their asses off to get to the point where they could sell books and get paid well for speaking engagements.

Ouch. I've got a mortgage at just over that and it'll take me another 28 years or so to pay it off. If she's not that well off, what does that make me?

I think your overall point is that Ann Romney is too detached from reality to be a politician and Hillary even more so... I mean if Ann Romney thinks she is just well-off and not rich --- Hillary belongs in an insane asylum for thinking she was dead broke in 2001 and not truly well off in 2014.

I bet we could get Obamabots to chip $$$ into a hat to help poor destitute Hillary.

It's a beach house.

And don't forget their mansion in Chappaqua too.
