Makes a good argument for more armed citizens.
The masses v. one insane man, set to kill a lot of people.

If 4/5 of the population was armed, the crazy guy may have second thoughts about going on a random shooting spree. You will always have the guy, that wants to commit suicide by cop. You might as well be the cop and not a casualty.

I'll assume yes, first, out of that 30,000 you have to take out the suicides, which leaves you about 15,000 actual deaths by guns....were you aware of that?
Wait until I tell my friend whose son committed suicide that her son isn't really dead. She'll be so happy.

That you can't come up with a decent argument shows how even you know your side has no argument. Yes, guns are without question part of the problem as is limited access to mental health. Any good policy solution has to solve both of those issues.
"while a gun's only use is to kill." You lost any semblance of credibility with this asinine statement.

I could have but I was focusing more on the events of mass shootings and the mental health.
the bigger picture is that people today act as if life is "cheap".

Are bank and store robbers mentally insane? or greedy people looking for easy loot?

not many people buy a gun and don't use it.

what is your solution to the gun violence?
You CANNOT use "most" one time then "many" the other time in comparisons.

No.1 "most people don't buy a gun or a car without wanting to use them." BUT, MANY do. The car collecting and restoring "hoppy" is one of the biggest hobbies and most expensive in the world.

MANY people buy cars just to fix then up then sell them and start all over with another car.

No. 2 "not many people buy a gun and don't use it." You are ABSOLUTELY WRONG.

MANY people buy a gun for self defense for their home and NEVER FIRE A SHOT.

With the number of people who fall into that category I wouldn't be surprised to find that MORE people never fire a shot then those that do.

First, the rifles they want banned or extremely controlled are NOT assault rifles.

Second, there are MORE people killed with blunt instruments, like baseball bats, then there are with rifles.

"where easy access to firearms" Please elaborate on what you mean by "easy access".

So, being the anti-gunners ALWAYS bring up rifles, weather they are used or not, and blunt instruments are used MORE then rifles, what do you suggest we do about "easy access" of blunt instraments?

Do ant-gunners RELAY care about deaths or not?

Many hang themselves.....they over dose.....they go in the garage and use a car.....they jump from buildings.....bridges....they stand in traffic or, block a train....they partake in "death by cop"....

Sell you story somewhere that people will believe the gun did it.

Well, let's hear some of your ideas on how to not let deranged people get their hands on firearms.

A young person commiting suicide is such a tragic thing. I personally can't fathom life being so bad that suicide is the answer. My friend lost his son, 2 years ago. He used a rope, as opposed to the firearms that were in the house.

WHen you take care of the gang bangers....you take care of 50%+ of gun deaths....
That's factually incorrect...according to the CDC Gun homicides are 80% gang-related.

Plus, we need to look at actual homicide RATE!

Rounding UP, we have approximately 10,000 gun homicides annually in a sea of 270,000,000 guns which equals 3.7037037037037037037037037037037e-7 homicides per GUN! Notice the -5! take out the 80% from gangs and we have;1.4814814814814814814814814814815e-4 Homicides per gun.

.00014814814814814814814814814814815e-4 Tell me how GUNS are the problem!
