Yeabut at least you can drive a stake through a vampire's heart. That and or revoke your invitation, but according to some once you invite evil into your home it isn't going anywhere without a fight. *LOL*

It's unimaginable, isn't it.

Fired Calif. nanny who wouldn't leave disappears

Apparently, the nanny is missing now. According to the article she is named in a couple of cases. I'm wondering if she has a warrant or two out there, and all this media attention sent her running.
Check the garbage bins.

When she's sleeping, tie a bunch of bananas to her head, then leave a trail of bananas leading to her bed. Then let a gorilla find the trail, and leave it at that.

She may be a smarty pants, but that approach won't work with a 400 pound, hungry gorilla.

I haven't tried it myself, but I've always said that if anyone crosses me, that's what I'd do.

^ works the same way in most states.

You have not seen anything till you see the legal battle it takes to evict a parent's 40 year old child or other relative, including those who abuse the owners.

Yours is better than mine: using liquid nails and 2 X 4's to lock her in her room

You have access to a gorilla

very true, and there are some cities that also have eviction procedures as well that must be followed. it can get very bad indeed being a landlord.

How would she have a case?

She knew the offer before accepting the job. Nobody forced her to take the job.

There is a minimum wage. I don't entirely agree with it, but it does exist. It's doubtful she could have been considered an exempt employee.
