I never claimed that the bolded, obviously most blacks aren't criminals. As for issues, I didn't give any reasons, I just noted the difference.
I noted the difference in encounter rates.
Encounter rates are a significant variable in violent crime statistics. Black people are far more likely to encounter other blacks and even whites (whites being the majority) than whites encountering blacks. I had the statistics ironed out in another post. I'd have to retrieve them.
This fact is exacerbated by the demographics of Chicago and New York City. Both are in the top 10 most segregated Metro-Areas in the US. Chicago is #3, behind Milwaukee and Detroit. Blacks in South Side, Chicago can go days without seeing whites if they wanted to.
I am not denying that, I am just saying being black doesn't mean that person is a criminal or will commit violence. There are other issues than skin color for the reason for increased violence in poor black neighborhoods.
I'm still trying to understand why violence is higher in poor black neighborhoods compared to equally poor white, brown, yellow, whatever.
Please, explain your theory. Because if being black doesn't have something to do with it, what does and why is it different than the other races?

So you honestly think a person's skin color makes them more or less violent? I am not sure I have a theory you would understand if you think this about skin color.

I'm asking the same question. What is it about being Black that would make a Black person be violent? How does being of a certain race make a person more violent? So far, no answer.
Exactly, inner city problems are the problem of the city and the state.
No other President has been expected to solve the issues in the inner city, only President Obama. I can only guess why that it.
