Indeed. However, this may be an inconvenient truth for those who prefer to practice selective outrage hoping it will serve their purpose.

IF the voter law were racist, then every other law that requires ID (and there are many) would also be racist.

The voter ID law keeps people from voting just the same way ID requirements keep people from driving. I get it.

That is a very simplistic conclusion by the publication, just because their was a higher participation rate by blacks doesn't mean the new law is not restrictive as their are other considerations.
The new laws were unnecessary and put into place without any proof of voter fraud.

There was an article several weeks ago claiming that a large percentage of voters were registered in other states but the investigation was never completed, don't let lack of evidence get in the way of political motivation.

Doesn't it seem a bit racist to say black people aren't capable of obtaining identification? This whole "issue" is about encouraging voter fraud.

What always made me laugh is here in PA them citing poor blacks who predominately live in the city with access to all kinds of public transportation being unable to get the ID becsue they had to get to the licensing center. Poor whites in rural areas that are more likely to be conservative would have travel much farther distances and have to find a ride.
