I mean that's not new. Every year since they started tracking the unemployment rate in 1972. The black unemployment rate is rarely under 10% and is always double the white unemployment rate. So this is the norm.
So all the money we spent on socials safety net programs, all the quotas ,all the laws have done nothing to help since 1972
Except, when he was a community organizer, going into black communities is all he did. So you are wrong there.
You are also wrong on the 70% number. All that number states is that 70% of black kids are born into a home where the parents arent married.
That doesnt mean the parent arent married now. Nor that the father wasnt in the picture when the kids was born. just that they werent married at the time of birth.
Why did he go into black communities? To help them, or to use them to stir the pot? He wants to stir the pot. He does not want progress - except for his own interests.
The 70% is accurate enough to see the output of the broken families, and the kids who are jacked up.

We need to remember that these numbers are not accurate. The 10.7% is probably much higher in reality since people fall of the list after a time.

However, you are right - two ivy league degrees and becoming president is not enough. He has never went into a black community to help kids that look like him, or could be his kids.
70% of black kids are in single parent households - primarily without fathers. How much good he would do if a black man who is successful in their eyes actually show up and encourage them to do what he did.
And yet the GOP beat up on him all the time for being a 'community organizer'. Guess you must have missed it.

It's not 16.7% any more...as it was in Sept. 2011.
Or even 15.4% as it was in 1984.
