People would call in for help with their taxes, and this guy would use the call to campaign for Obama. The IRS has "suspended" him for 100 days. Since they didn't say "without pay," he's probably getting 100 day paid vacation.
He should be fired. This is ridiculous. The IRS is completely corrupt and incompetent.

Why have a income tax at all?
Why can't we keep what we earn?
If you had your $3000-4000 tax dollars that Uncle Sam wastes wouldn't you consume? Buy a car downpayment on a home you would have some economic empowerment!
They could recoop money by a consumption tax the bigger the item the larger the sales tax...

Since it has Fox in the source the quality of information is highly suspect.

Actually the only thing that is 'highly suspect' is your ability to evaluate the quality of information. This story is 100% true.

And surprisingly, according to the Politico piece, this was an unpaid suspension. Still it is light punishment for the offense, IMO. In most private sector jobs this would be considered a)dishonesty; b)theft of company resources, and would merit termination.

I wonder if he will be prosecuted for the violation of federal law (Hatch Act). No on second hand, I don't. We pick & choose which laws to enforce these days.

Why does the gov provide cover for the miscreant by not releasing his name?

How are your news sources playing it?

They are playing it, right?

get rid of the entire income tax system and go to a sales tax of 10%. no taxing of items needed for basic living, and no gas tax either.

also, fire 99% of all tax employees in the federal government.
