Half the "news" crap that's posted here that vilifies Israel is from Al Jazeera.
If you read this entire thread, which I have, there is very little vilifying Israel and an enormous amount of sheer hatred and thirst for bloodshed towards the Palestinians, which I just don't understand. Why would an American hate a Palestinian, what have they ever done to the U.S. ? Hamas is not Al Quada, you can't just lump all Middle Eastern groups into one.
Al Jazeera has a bias also. There is no such thing as unbiased media.
Al Jazeera will report Israeli fatalities as well as Palestinian, and a lot of the Israeli media seems to ignore the huge number of Palestinian fatalities, which by the way stands at :
1000 Palestinians dead, mostly civilians----over 6,000 injured ---- over 100,000 displaced from their homes.
It's simply not the same when one group is using home-made inefficient rockets against those "shield" systems that Israel has, and then Israel is using the latest in high-tech military equipment to relentlessly bomb Gaza.
It is not a fair conflict: there is no shield for Gaza, residents of Gaza are trapped, with no borders open to them so they can leave. They are being bombarded by sea, air, and land.

It is not fair that Hamas is using the Palestinians of Gaza as human shields. It is not fair that Hamas invested money to build underground attack tunnels in order to murder Israelis rather building an infrastructure to support and protect the people of Gaza. It is unfair that Hamas tells Gazans not to vacate areas that IDF has alerted them in advance to evacuate for their safety.
It is not fair that Hamas has been shelling Israeli civilians with rockets for quite a few years already and therefore they can't live normal lives. There are young Israeli children that their whole young lives they know that they have 15 seconds to run to a shelter as rocket might fall and destroy the building they are in.

There is no Israeli media in Gaza at all. So Israeli media has to rely on foreign journalists in Gaza in order to report what is going there.
Ahhh democracy in the middle east. Hamas, ISIS, Iran, etc.
Apparently, religious theocracies seasoned with violence and a side helping of subjugation of women is what they prefer.
The destruction of Israel is definitely on the menu for Hamas, and they don't care if they need to use some of their own children as human shields to serve up that dish.

I (as a jew) do not hate the Palestinians, I do believe they've followed the wrong leaders for quite some time and been led down the current path they're on which could lead to their eventual total destruction.
On top of that they are and have been used as puppets by others who don't have the stones to attack Israel in the first person. This needs to cease in order for any kind of peace to occur.
The only viable long term solution is for the good people of Gaza and the West Bank to rise up and cut the strings from the puppet masters (Iran for one) and toss the radicals out of power.
Hamas,ISIS,Muslim Brotherhood do need to be put back in the bottle from whence they came and buried for the rest of eternity or until such a time as they admit people other than muslims have a right to live in peace and not be murdered for their beliefs.
Since 1967 Israel has been an aggressor nation. Most Americans are afraid to even discuss this because of fear of being called anti semitic and harassment by American Jews. I completely support the cause and actions of Hamas. The majority of members of Hamas are Semitic peoples.
Well then you and others doom the Palestinians to a never ending war that they cannot win.
I certainly do not understand how anyone can support a terrorist group who believes that killing innocent women and children is a solution to achieving their goal. Then again, saying the elimination of an entire group of people is your goal leaves very little doubt as to why they do not blink at killing the innocent.
How do you justify it?
