I was referring to the bigotry of posters comments. Your defense seem to be that it's ok to be a bigot to someone as long as they aren't a "minority" in some sense. We will have to just disagree.

I share no love for fundies views, I just don't try to hold all Christians accountable for the actions of one segment....same as I do for any religion or ethnicity.

Feel free to join me in the 21st century or just continue to rationalize your bigotry.

We know we don't live under a theocracy; but that matters little. Truth is truth.

When you die, God isn't going to excuse your unbelief and brush it off because you didn't "live in a theocracy." The evidence of the existence of God is all around you. And, man knows intuitively that God exists. You will not escape punishment for your unbelief (and your sin) because you refused to acknowledge it as such.

But, for those who believe, our sins are forgiven. And that is the message of Christ, and that is the fundamental message of Campus Crusade for Christ, forgiveness of sin by accepting Christ, and believing that He died once for all, the perfect sacrifice for sin.

It's a shame that so many of you refuse to understand this fundamental truth, and believe in the only one who can save you from your sins.

No, God did not "create homosexuals." He created man, and woman. Did God "create thieves?" Did God "create prostitutes?" No, he did not. These things are behaviors, and are not "creations" of God. They are the result of giving in to temptations and sin.

Yep. I'm just a leftist lib'rul in your black and white, simplistic world of no critical thinking. Go back to sleep and wait for Hannity to give you the Koch.

Ah, thanks for reminding of the self-righteousness that permeated the room at Crusade for Christ. It's almost like being back there.

It's not "self righteousness." That's what you don't understand. Our righteousness is from God, imputed to us because we believe:

"Consider Abraham: 'He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.' Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: 'All nations will be blessed through you.' So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith." Galatians 3:6-9

Sorry if you can't see the similarities between your attitude and those like the pharisees. What's worse is that you blame God for your contempt for others. I'll pray that Jesus will help you.

In with the knee-jerk deflection. Hey, when it's all you've got, what else can we expect.

Where has he blamed God? You are very devious with your posts, stating posters say things that they have not. Satan is the master of deception.

Like polygamy and a host of other rules like working on Sunday etc. that are either now "bad" or quietly ignored? lmao.

Wierd how certain aspects of the bible have been culturally shoved aside and reinterpreted or just outright ignored while others are held up as divine truth.

Tell you what, the christian church in the US has a whole lot bigger problems then homosexuality. Divorce and adultary run rampant in my church just for starters.

The problem there is that it's a lot more comfortable throwing stones at outsiders (like gays or other religions) because you don't have to worry about stepping on any of the flocks toes. Now start hammering on divorce, adultary and admonishing stan from church for mowing his yard on Sunday and then you are going to upset people. (Which means they leave the church in many cases)

Ask yourself that while you sit in church the next couple weeks. What is your pastor hammering on? Is it the flock? Or is it the outsiders? Is it because the outsiders are the sinners but the flock is not? We both know the answer to that.

I leave you with the parting comment, "Physician, heal thyself."
