Why can't parents and school administrators just decide for themselves what their children eat at school? Instead, we all pay taxes that the federal government takes from us, and then they want to decide school policy, and withhold our tax dollars if we do not bend a knee to their demands.

When did this type of tyranny from our government become acceptable?

That is the point. So many parent don't care what their kids eat. Junk as good enough for them so junk food for the kids.

Ever watch the movie, "Idiocracy?" Turning out to be more true than the parody it was originally intended to be...

Preparing chicken is what Chick Fil A does. They have consistently prepared chicken in a professional manner their company lives and dies according to customer approval of the food they prepare. If their chicken tasted like "a piece of rubber" then they would not be in business.

The first gal (she is no lady) is fat though. Why doesn't she worry about her own obesity issue first, before concerning herself with Chick-Fil-A?

Well it says "The new government regulations require snack items served in public schools to have less than two hundred calories. "
And so you don't think our government should feed kids healthy with the obesity epidemic going on?

I disagree.

However the real joke or story is that the US wants to feed our US public school kids inferior chicken from China.

Now THAT is something to get upset about not this lightweight stuff. But I see you are just looking to continue the liberal vs. conservative war. To me a useless goal.

Do you have a link for US public schools supplementing their school lunch with chicken from China?
