This was so outrageous that the prank caller was soo shocked she didn't pick up on it, that he couldn't even keep going with the prank....he never even contemplated he would be asked a follow up question, all he had was 'wow, you're dumb'
That might have been the idea. He sounded pissed when he called her a dumbass. If her aim was for him to not enjoy the prank then mission accomplished

1. Your post doesnt even make sense. I have yet to ever see a "public racy party". While not technically a oxymoron, its about as close as you can get with out being one.
2. You are talking about photos taken at a private residence 13 years ago( 9 years ago at the time of their release)
3. You went to her Wikipedia page, so you know full well She had worked for CNN, Huffington Post and FOX news long before those pictures a came out and was a Congressional candidate when they did come out, so why are you playing dumb as if those pictures coming out are the reason she is even known ?

Its funny there have been atleast a dozen threads on the cycle, and yet those pictures never came up, now all of a sudden they are the reason she got the job.

Your comment doesn't even make sense, I have no idea what point you are trying to make with this.

It was a poor decision she made and she is playing the gender card to deny any responsibility for it. This isn't something unique to women, it happens to male political candidates as well, all the time. It's quite likely that she originally posted them to Facebook or Twitter HERSELF:
I'm sorry… If you post pictures of yourself on social media blowing a sex toy attached to your husbands nose while you lead him around on a leash and then wonder why they come back to bite you in the ass later, you really have no common sense. It's common advice to young people to monitor their Facebook pages because YES employers and others DO look at them. It doesn't just happen to women either.

I never claimed that was the only reason she was known. I've never even heard of her before the MSNBC prank myself, photo scandal or otherwise so I had to Google her to see who she was. Try another strawman argument.
I have no love for MSNBC and this woman in particular, but pranking her on air was wrong.
The prank was juvenile and stupid, especially considering the subject matter of the report but there is NO excuse for her and the producers involved at MSNBC not to have VETTED their callers and not to even catch on to the prank until the point were he calls her a dumb ass.
It showed MSNBC to be a completely amateur organization, if there were any doubt prior.
