Should ethnic Russians even be allowed to live in Ukraine?

Ukraine is the Invasion Highway of the East and West. It has always been the route all invaders have taken from the east to the west and visa versa. It's a crossroads and meeting point. There has been turmoil and division all through history.

I'm waiting for the right wing conservatives to pin the entire Ukraine situation on Obama. It should be fun.

And about those ethnic Russians. How different do you think Russia and Ukraine are culturally? They have a lot more in common than say, the Indians and the British did. Russians have been living in Ukraine long before the Karl Marx had even written the Communist Manifesto. Saying they don't have a right to be there is an extreme statement to make, and probably contradicts your own situation, given your ancestors had no right to come to America, a land once inhabited by indigenous people. But your American, so you get special freedom rules.

The difference is that the Native Americans have now accepted that this is the US and that they are also Americans. So yes the USA very much as legitimacy over our entire territory. Russians and Ukrainians speak different languages are are different ethnicities I'd say they are at least as different from each other as the French and British or the British and Italians are from each other.
