Garner has been missed for quite a few years now. Oddly enough, my first exposure to Garner was "Rockford Files", which sucked. There has been a generational decline in the quality of people in the acting business and it doesn't appear to ever be coming back.

You do know that a TV cowboy show where the hero relies more on wit and intelligence than weaponry to accomplish his aims, was then very "Mavericky". That would be an absurd TV concept in modern action TV, huh?
That is classic "florida.bob" right there! The "actual" Maverick died - the one who is an actor playing a fictional role, that is the actual one. Thanks for the smile, have to smile at those who buy in.
Oh my. You do know that the term "maverick" predates both the show and McCain (well maybe not McCain). A "maverick" is an unbranded calf/cow. The term comes from the name of a rancher in the 1800s who refused to brand his cattle on the open range. He was probably an early PETA member.
