First he should have reached out to Putin reminding the Great Fascist Fighter of what great allies the Dutch people were in the fight against Fascism. And maybe remind Europe that The Netherlands were promoting religious freedom when England was persecuting Puritans and The Spanish were conducting the The Inquisition.
The he should have coordinated a group of UK, Dutch and American Airborne to secure the area, conduct an investigation and get the bodies home to their families.

Tell me again how this plane incident is a threat to the US. It will take more than one "Obama", but maybe we can eventually shed this notion that every thing bad that happens in the world deserves a US response. Parents, when you tuck your kids in tonite, thank your God that Obama is the president and not some war-mongering neocon like Bush or McCain.
