Yes, the Bush Admin. was wrong to depose Saddam Hussein. There were plenty of people who felt that way at the time, including myself. However, it was done and there's no turning back time. Obama is not off the hook for his absolute failure to get a status of forces agreement in place and just leaving Iraq to their own devices. He forgot Colin Powell's Pottery Barn analogy - you break it, you own it.
I feel like we learned absolutely nothing from the 20th Century, and here we are 100 years from the beginning of World War I and it seems like we're about to enter into another generation of war. I so hope that's not the case, as I have an adolescent son. Things are not looking good, and we've had two back-to-back bad leaders that brought us to this place. Maybe if John McCain would have followed Bush, he would have made sure Iraq didn't get chaotic. I wasn't his biggest fan, but in light of what is happening now I think he may have been the better choice.
Why should we care about some church in Iraq?
Thank goodness that we didn't get a SOFA agreement. Abandoning Iraq was just what the doctor ordered.

There is no such thing as a religion of peace and I don't support any religion...ESPECIALLY Islam.

I'm sure the US will pay for a mosque to be built on the spot to "help relations"
