Which only highlights that the term "conservative" does not have a single all encompassing definition.

A constitutional conservative, religious conservative, social conservative, fiscal conservative, environmental conservative, these are not all the same thing.

A person can be a registered Republican and not be any of the above, or they may be only one, or all of the above.

GW Bush for example, was only a religious and social conservative. Obama used to be a social conservative and an environmental conservative.

What's there to forgive? What Wrong has been done? The kids will get older, learn more, understand more--and then they, too, will oppose these things.

do you honestly think democrats are in favor in gay marriage because of principal and "equal rights"?
If you do, you are stupid. hillary needs the gay vote and their money.

Why not? They forgave U.S. Rep. Travis Childers, who is a declared pro-life and pro-NRA Democrat.

All the GOP has to do to get forgiveness and a lock on future millennial votes is to run on a platform of phasing out Medicare and Social Security. Millennials especially hate the latter.

If he didn't go around the country whining and making excuses about his lack of leadership to get Republicans to work with him, punishing their enemies, how people cling to their guns and religion, war on women BS, and actually called people together to try to get things done, then the country wouldn't give a darn what Rush Limbaugh had to say. Clinton was able to do his job despite Rush Limbaugh.
I'd say they're actually far less nasty. Look at the hateful things Bill Maher gets away with saying and gets to keep his show. He called Bachmann "retarded," Palin a "dumb tw*t" and a "c*nt" and made a sex toy joke aimed at Michelle Malkin. Recall when Ed Shultz called Laura Ingraham a ****, or when Olbermann called Malkin a "big mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it", or when Martin Bashir expressed his desire for someone to defecate in Palin's mouth. And who can forget the Playboy's Top Ten list of Conservative women they want to "hatef*ck"

Conservative pundits sometimes make blanket insensitive comments, but nothing like the outright hate and often misogynist things left-wing pundits tend to think is OK to say.

Why not? They forgave all the Democrats who just a short time ago opposed it. Democrats changed their minds, publically anyways, quicker for political purposes.

If you think that all the nongay people who have supported marriage equality for the past ten years have done so to get Hillary elected two years from now, you have an overly limited world view.

I didn't know about the Playboy list, but I was going to mention that gay activist on Bill Maher's show saying he hopes Bachmann's husband "hatef*cks her every night." Funny, a word that really means rape, and they say it about conservative women because they believe conservative women are committing a "War on Women."
