Looks like a cross was burned outside a Tennessee church last night. Pastor is black, so perhaps a black church. Sad to see this still going on.

Sad but true. Too many of these bogus events have occurred to not be somewhat skeptical.

This is in my town. About 2 miles from my house.

The thinking is that it was some local teens with a prank. Its being investigated as a hate crime because the motivation is not known.

Clarksville is not some backwooded redneck town. We are a military town, which means most race relations are pretty good because we are all used to that around here. The pastor did an interview last night and swore he never thought this would happen in Clarksville.

It is sad, the community has rallied around the church though.

Nah, I say 92% on the "back to Africa" bit and 98% would like bring back Jim Crow.

Not surprising. Glad that I no longer live in that place. Interestingly, the town is largely military. It could have been anyone. However, I wouldn't put this past some of those ignorant military guys from backward small towns.

On another note, the article should have been proofread.
