Yes, I am serious. Even if we assume that islam is a "religion" and not a theopolitical cult with aspirations of global domination and rule, then that still does not mean we need to bow to its nonsense as evidenced by the Supreme Court's refusal to allow the smoking of peyote and certain other religious practices that are harmful or otherwise prohibited by public policy. Plus, our second amendment says that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed yet just until very recently it was completely illegal in certain parts of the country to even own a gun and still illegal to carry a gun in many states; and even if you are theoretically allowed to obtain or carry a gun then you need to jump through numerous hoops and, even then, you may be severely restricted in the type of gun or ammunition you can purchase. Does that sound like "shall not be infringed" to you? Or how about this one: you have the right to be secure in your property without search or seizure absent a warrant except of course if you are in your car in which case the police can do whatever they want, or they can fly over you and take a picture, or the NSA can tap your phone, or read your email, or they can do a "sneak and peak" search of your home, or they can look around your house for "confederates" if they catch a person near your home. Oh yeah, and they can search your house without a warrant even if you say no as long as another person who purportedly lives there says yes. They can also search your house on a "community caretaking" measure if they think there is someone in the home who needs help, or under exigent circumstances (AKA miscellaneous made-up reason). But don't worry because at least your house itself is safe from the government taking it unless of course it takes it for public use and by "public use" I mean when a business comes in and wants to build a private mall on your property and tells the local town to throw you off your land and bulldoze your house for "public use".
So... there is absolutely no reason why the constitution should have an absolute rule against prohibiting or restricting a violent ideology masquerading as a "religion," especially one that openly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, and practices apostasy which is in and of its self antithetical to freedom of religion and the First Amendment. But you can go ahead and continue to make nice with a rabid dog under the chimerical delusion that it will bite you last.
A couple of things:
1. China is a communist country, and eschews all religion.
2. Since when is fasting for for Ramadan a violent act by a cult?
3. You go into a anti gubmit blather that has nada to do with the subject (as lame as it is) at hand
Move to china, please. I'll pay for a one way ticket for you.

1) How is a country's economic distribution system relevant to its perceived treatment of religious diversity?
2) It doesn't need to be, that was just an example.
3) If you think the subject is so lame then why bother posting on it? My "anti gubmit blather" shows the logical inconsistencies of people who allow various exceptions to every other constitutional right yet refuse to allow badly needed restrictions on dangerous cultist practices. I find it ironic that you are call my post "anti gubmit blather" yet you decry "gubmit" restrictions on dangerous ideological practices.
Islam is nothing new in China. In fact it has been there for 1,400 years. 10 ethnic groups in China are predominantly Muslims, and they make 2% (over 25 million) of China's population.
The falun gong cats don't have it easy there either.
