I'm offended by the kids with the dads (especially that pompous father with the baby). They seem to young to be going "back" to school. My kids were older than that when they went to Kindergarten. Is this a slam on my kids being too stupid to go that young?!?! There. How's that for digging until and offensive thing is found. I think I nailed the real hidden agenda.

Nothing to be offended about here. Just a recognition by Staples and their advertising firm that many younger children are now attending school and they want their parents' business too.
I'm 58 and spent my pre-K years at home spending quality time with my mum and siblings, playing outside, eating pbj sandwiches and watching the 3 stooges and popeye on TV. That isn't what most modern toddlers do, that's just a fact. The Staples ad isn't aimed at parents who are still raising their offspring in the old-school methods and really isn't putting them down.

She's probably just keeping you placated because she is currently sharing a living place with you.
To the OP: While I do look for things like this in certain commercials, this one didn't set off my radar. It just came off as goofy. Maybe they wanted all three dads to be in synch and just happened to find three white guys that looked goofy dancing together. If they had found three black dads, we might have had a problem with the fact that black people seem to always have to be dancing in a commercial while white people get to be serious and intellectual.
I stumbled on this great site a while back that is authored by a very paranoid white guy who sees racism (against the white man) but I can't find the link. Its a good read. So I'll look and post it up, because I do agree that corporations put more thought into this then some people think.

Never thought of that. Sounds reasonably unreasonable on the part of the corporation.

There is a cure that take seconds, is free and works immediately, it is called......
Are you ready?
Wait for it..........
Turn off the television..........
That's been suggested before, and I don't see how that's any fun.
