He keeps telling us what we don't want to hear: there are no easy solutions. Foreign policy is complicated. America can't wave a wand and solve the problems of the world. We could do better on some domestic issues but not if one key player is not interested in anything but their political hides. He's right.

Sure, yeah, he's right: "Congress should stop standing in the way of the country's success." Except that many people do not agree that Congress is in charge of the country's success.
Maybe he means that the Senate is sitting on scores of productive bills, taking no action, that have been passed by the House. Or maybe he is objecting to Harry Reid, who has totally throttled the legislative agenda in the Senate to keep his imperiled fellow Dems from having to take tough votes. Wait, no, of course not--he means the evil Republicans.
Just once it would be nice if Obama could talk about the principled opposition without demonizing it or building a straw man or being his usual smarmy self. He's tough to listen to.

You are inferring from his remarks that he is talking about the Republican House. Maybe he is, but he did not say that. In any case, we all know that while the Senate is less partisan, it is not without fault either. When you get down to it, the only politician out there that seems to be willing to actually do something and take the political lumps for it is Obama. He is obviously doing what he thinks is best for the country and not his poll numbers.
The President speaks the truth and the cons can't handle it
BS, the President would not know the truth if it hit him in the face, Wake up/
