... now it looks like, that "urgent need" to get things happening to protect and care for our Veterans, can wait til the Repubs come back from vacation. No action in House on Senate bill... vacation from doing nothing is way too important.

In August 2007, presidential candidate Barack Obama gave a campaign speech to veterans specifically addressing wait lists, denied care and poor treatment of vets. He promised his administration would be different.
"No veteran should have to fill out a 23-page claim to get care, or wait months -- even years -- to get an appointment at the VA," said then-candidate Obama.
"When we fail to keep faith with our veterans, the bond between our nation and our nation's heroes becomes frayed. When a veteran is denied care, we are all dishonored."
Another great failure on your part....

Obama is incompetent on managing the federal government. 58% of Americans agree with me on this point.

We elected a man with zero managerial experience to arguably the biggest managerial position in the world, because the democrats thought he was cool. Now we reap the hell from it.

Throwing more money at it and then wiping your hands clean is a fool's way of solving the problem. Since 2008, funding is up 57%, doctors are up 40% and appointments for patients are up 13.8%.

The fraud has a lot to do with a culture that knows the government doesn't punish abuse and waste.

If it was so important, why attach illegal alien amnesty to the bill?

Playing politics at the cost to our men & women that served this nation.

Of course there is no Senate Bill - the Senate Committee and the House Committee are both still working on language for the Bill that they can both accept. The House is objecting to the $35-36 Billion Dollar per year price tag and the Bonuses that will still be in place under the bosses that are still in place. IE, no changes, just throw more money at them and hope the Vets shut up.

As for the "Vacation" -- it's beyond arrogance to try and hang "vacation" around the Republican's neck when even the Democrats and the Media are all talking about our "checked out" President that does nothing but go to Fund Raisers, Play golf, pose for Photo Ops (except on the Border Crisis) and will head off the Martha's Vinyard for his 16 day Vacation in a $12 Million dollar home.

On the other hand ..... some people are Really, Really good at following orders (like the OP).

Still, the Democrats' messaging strategy, unveiled last week, attempts to draw clear distinctions between what they consider the Republicans' "do-nothing" plan and the Democrats' specific economic priorities. It's a strategy Israel says will dominate the next month.

"August will be about our action versus their inaction," Israel said. "We'll be talking about how they have stalled on everything, and we have a specific series of initiatives to jumpstart the middle class. That is going to be August."

Exactly how "out of touch" does the Democratic Strategy gurus have to be to think they can hang their failure in the Senate on Republicans. Just wait until the same Strategy Gurus decide to issue an 'Amnesty" Decree around the American public's neck with a Border crisis going on. Add the Asylum/Refugee label to all these people flooding in from Central America and we have a very serious mess. They are talking about an Executive order that will give Amnesty to 5 Million illegals according to the Amnesty Activists .... they say they have a "promise" from Obama.

This is the Strategy that they think will win them the 2014 Mid-Terms.
