Obama tried to pass a law called the "Buffet Rule", which would have made everyone making over $1 million dollars a year pay at least a 30% tax rate, but the republicans stopped him.

There were significant problems with the Buffett Rule, this article from 2012 sums up the biggest three:
What's Wrong With the Buffett Rule - Forbes

On thing to remember here, just in case you don't go read that article, is that most industrial countries have a preferential tax rate for capital gains and the US has done for most of the last 90 years. It was instituted in 1922 "when it was determined that a top rate of 73 percent was discouraging gains realizations." (from the Forbes article).

This is not something those 1980's and 1990's ebil GOP'ers dreamt up.

Obama is in campaign mode for the next 2 1/2 years. His administration is corrupt beyond repair and he has never really presided. Why rock the boat now?

Yep. I retired last year for the very same reason. Much less of a tax slave now.

Just 2 examples do not effective federal tax rates make. Here are the average effective total federal tax rates, courtesy of the joint effort of two liberal think tanks:

Yep. There's liberal think tank data for that, too.

That is just an example. There are hundreds of these hidden taxes on non-leeches.

I see the big money thrown into propaganda is alive & working well for you. Class warfare is the new racism. Why don't you try following the money & see who the true 'leeches' in our economy are.

Thank you, Obama.
You pay more than the market dictates for rent? Why would you possible do that?

The two parties are two heads on the same beast. The only difference is the rhetoric. Change a name and the talking points are almost the same.
