I am a Christian and just have not experienced what you are describing. Various members of these denominations have been far pushier. Atheists and agnostics have not tried to convert me. They are entitled to the same rights as everyone else. We are supposed to be the USA, not Iran.
One day when I was out of town the Johova's Wittness people opened my screen door to insert a tract into my front door panel. They didn't close my screen door securely, and a gust of wind blew the screen door off of the hinges. Next time, three older men JW who stopped by, I told them about the previous incident, and asked them if they came by to pay for new screen door. They took off down my driveway as fast as they could, without even saying, "we are sorry." That was their last visit to my house.

Default Rejected Atheist Booth in City Hall Draws Lawsuit

It seems you're conflating this Church of Satan with atheists.

We don't believe in the Christian Satan, either.

Yep, in that city it apparently is for Christians only. There is no better place to have a booth for those in a city like this who are atheists and feel a lack of acceptance based on the fact that they don't have a religious backed value.

With a booth, Atheists can assure others like them that the city will still treat them fairly and that others like them are accepted within city hall just like those who are Christian. But, obviously that isn't true in this city, they won't be treated fairly and there will be no booth if you aren't Christian. Because in the eyes of a Christian when you don't believe in God you are disparaging of them. lol

How bad is this city hall to need booths to console people through prayer? It must be pretty scary in there, last time I checked you could pray anywhere.....

Somethings a bit fishy about the city hall decision.

I think atheists are acting a bit religiouslike sometimes, maybe out of the normal realm of atheism to make the point, but I believe the real point to their madness is to make sure that the people who are atheists and afraid to be honest about it because of fear given the attitude Americans have of them is valid.

It's not like an atheist is treated the same in America as they are in say England or Japan. It can have negative effects here on your job or with relatives, where as it's a none issue in a lot of other progressive countries. Atheists are trying to get people in America use to living with them so that it becomes a none issue in the future. America isn't the middle east but it is a very religious country, and God Bless America is the standard lingo. It's a bit dominated by it if we're honest.

Many studies have shown a positive effect of prayer. Maybe it's only psychosomatic but you wouldn't be questioning science would you?

My problem with the OP's assertion is that curiously for an "avowed Christian organization" there is no mention of Christianity in either the NSDAP's 25 Points or their handbook Ich Kämpfe....so again, where is the source for the claim "The Nazis were an avowed Christian organization from their conception".

Throw in Hitlers poorly hidden animosity towards Christianity and it becomes incredulous.

Only the Nazis themselves.

"We demand freedom for all religious confessions in the state, insofar as they do not endanger its existence or conflict with the customs and moral sentiments of the Germanic race. The party as such represents the standpoint of a positive Christianity, without owing itself to a particular confession...."

Actually, this is a good account of it by this history professor. Hitler used Christians and exploited them for backing in the take over but seems intended to then get rid of them and institute a "North Korean" type German religion for all of Germany later on. Hitler was a crazy individual and I don't think Christians nor atheists need to be lumped comparatively. IMO, of course.
