Actually, I believe that the abortion clinic bombings and murders as well as the OK City bombing were perpetrated by Christians. Maybe Christians simply choose not to acknowledge these terrorist attacks were committed by people who were white and christian. All extremists and fanatics can be dangerous, but muslims certainly have no lock on it.

You mean "I strongly disagree with a radical, extremist, but vocal and powerful minority of Islam"? The majority of Muslims do not want to destroy the West.
The actions of a few radicals do not mean all of Islam is hateful towards the US. Most Muslims don't honor-kill. Most Muslims don't want Sharia implemented in their community.
As I say, it's not all muslims, but it's usually a muslim when there is terrorism.

You can use the word Islamist to be more specific and there are entire countries that are controlled by these groups. Whether it is Al Queda, ISIS, the Taliban, the Boko Haram or the countries that sponsor them, there is little analogy between them and local American born terrorist.
"Al Queda, ISIS, the Taliban, the Boko Haram" are all modern day examples of how Islam has spread throughout the world over the last 1400+ years- Through force, bloodshed and slavery. The propagation of Islam peacefully is a sham. How many people do you know personally who would convert? No one I know. These groups are exactly how the majority of Islam has spread throughout history. It's right in front of us to see.
But there is no threat of local terrorist taking over our country, unlike ISIS or other Islamist organizations. There's no real comparison as a national threat. Our worst American born Terrorist was Timmothy McVeigh. He blew up a building. ISIS, by comparison has the power to establish a country. Whose the bigger threat?
