Freedom loving countries around the world should be supporting each other, in this case Israel, who is fighting for her very existence. You don't turn your back on democracies, or soon you will be in the same boat, with no one willing to stand up for you.

The USA is obligated to give financial to Egypt as well as Israel based on the Egyptian-Israel Peace Treaty. But one needs to remember that Hamas is also indirectly getting aid from the USA has given money to the Palestinian Authority which has been taken by Hamas to fund its terrorist activities.

There is no cease fire with them.
Hamas has broken 5 ceasefires. Hamas seems to think that a ceasefire means Israel ceases and Hamas fires!

Yes, because the individual to whom I had responded was presenting the Palestinian side.

"Let Israel destroy it's enemy once and for all!!"
Considering Hamas operates like it's brethren organizations Al-Quida, the Taliban, Boko Haram and other terrorist group they should be eliminated, The Islamist have been a thorn in Palestine and the rest of the world since they invaded Jerusalem in 636 AD.

When the Muslims entered Jerusalem it was a "Christian" city and had no Jews. It was because of the Muslim conquest Jews were able to return to Jerusalem

Jews were obviously inhabitants of Jerusalem before Christianity and Islam became religions.

So I'm not sure how it can be successfully argued how any other religious group can lay original claim to that land.

You may want to check your timeline again. Keep in mind Jerusalem is a region and not simply a fort.

I agree.

But it also needs to be remembered that some, perhaps many, of those Jews converted to Christianity and Islam

You do have Muslims living as Palestinians that have Jewish Roots dating back to the origin of Jews in the area. Being a Muslim or Christian does not mean the family tree was invaders.
