Unreasonable demands? Like wanting a port and an airfield, and more freedom of movement of people and goods? Gosh those silly Gazans, it's almost as if they believe they have the right to grow their economy and live in freedom.
A port and an airfield are reasonable demands only if Hamas is willing to allow Gaza to become a demilitarized zone. Also you fail to include Hamas's demand of freeing all Hamas terrorists in Israeli prisons which is definitely an unreasonable demand.
Israel resumed its murder of innocents today with the killing of a 10 year old child. We bomb in Iraq to protect civilians yet turn away while the Jews murder children in the same area.
I don't understand modern war. American keeps telling Israel that it needs to stop fighting Hamas and pull out it's troops before the job is done. (Why is it our business anyway? Is Mexico telling Israel how to fight against terrorists?)
In WW2, America fought to win the war and kept bombing and killing people, including thousands of civilians until Japan, Germany and Italy lost the will to fight. To kill the Nazi leadership and troops many civilians died. America had to destroy their enemy's will to fight. Israel needs to do the same. Keep fighting until they (Hamas) says Uncle.
Didn't we learn our lesson from Korea and Vietnam that you have to fight a war to win? If Israel is being attacked, let them fight the war until the other side says uncle and they lose their will to keep fighting and lay down their arms. That is how wars ended throughout history.

The problem Israel faces is its policies make it an outcast in the very neighborhood that it has to live. Israel is behaving like the very people who wanted to destroy the Jewish people forever and will be hated just as much the future. There will be a desire in millions of people to see Israelis suffer the bombing and loss that they seem to be subjecting Palestinians to today.

Israel is no ally of this nation-we should distance ourselves as far as possible from their Government. Many Israeli's are against the terrorism their Government is creating however.
