that is correct to some degree for most biased media outlets on left and right.
Both US and Israel have their share of wrong policies, mistakes and failures. But that doesn't mean everything under the sun is their fault. Hamas (that folks like Ron Paul find nothing wrong with) is an offshoot of the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt. So are many of todays Suni jihadist organizations. It's possible Israel helped them at their beginnings, hoping to find alternatives to militant Palestinian groups. But soon when their goals and ideology were revealed, it's hard to believe Israel continued their support. Yet the group grew and grew with help from other sources. To blame America for that? What would US interest be, especially after the end of the Cold War?
