And all of that becomes moot when there are simply no jobs left. Watch the video I posted a few posts up in this thread. Automation is going to make the issue of minimum wage moot.

It's going to be a very long time before automation can trim your tree's, paint your house, etc. At some point in the future this may happen but government policy is going to drive the wages of even these people down as more jobs automate.

If you believe, and I have no idea what the actual numbers will be, but if you believe millions are going to work so billions do not have to, you are mistaken. Human nature says otherwise.
