Obama's ideology puts us in no win situation as US becomes irrelevant.
Why lose Egypt after investing so many efforts, time and Billions? To help Muslim Brothers come back? Transforming Egypt into second Iraq will help us ???
BTW, if anyone thinks Muslim Brothers will like US better, they are making a big mistake.

The article specifies the State Department, and under Kerry's tenure as SoS, labeling State "ignorant" would be upgrading it from what it currently is.

Kerry's ignorance is so profound it's managed to get Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and Fatah (as in the moderate Palestinians in Gaza) to all agree on him being ignorant.

Yes, if America is indeed judged by its diplomacy sector, and that diplomacy sector is embodied by John Kerry's State Department, then we are indeed the most ignorant nation on the planet, maybe in all of history.

"Egypt condemns US as ignorant "
True, but I would have to say that overall they are more ignorant. They had their day in the sun~About 2500 years ago

That will shift a lot of the Mid-East. The Saudis don't trust us anymore - many will think that's a "good thing", but the reality is that we need Mid-East Oil because Obama is at War with Fossil Fuels in the USA and won't allow the Keystone Pipeline to assure the USA of a good supply. Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are looking for a new "Strong Horse" ...... it's no longer the USA. They don't have a lot of options, but the options they have a VERY interesting.
Who cares if the Saudis trust us or not?

They'll sell us the oil regardless.

Did you miss that it was the comments of the State Department? This has nothing to do with Congress, but if you must go there, let's be fair and balance and give the President (who really is the head of foreign policy) his fair share of the skunk roast.

Look up Article II

Well, we know he has pissed off Germany and France with spying, and the first order of business in 2009 was to shun the UK by sending back Churchill's bust.

June 30th:
The Obama administration has achieved a landmark heretofore considered impossible: they are making America's allies homesick for the administration of George W. Bush. This week, news broke that Poland's foreign minister was caught on tape earlier this year disparaging the United States. Radek Sikorski bitterly said Warsaw's ties to Washington were "worthless," then followed it up with some even saltier language. It's actually a measure of America's importance that the surreptitious recording caused a sensation, forcing Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk to face a confidence vote in Parliament. The indiscretion will probably cost Sikorski his prospects for the job of EU foreign policy chief. But he's not wrong about America. The United States has become an exasperating ally, and even countries that are inclined to support us are hedging against because of the Obama administration's conduct.

The problem with Obama's foreign policy is that he has none.

What is the fastest way to kill a country? Make enemies of the rest of the world. He's doing a wonderful job at fundamentally changing America.
