From my understanding, we give them two types of aid. We give them loan guarantees and grants used to essentially purchase military hardware (most of it US made).
I really don't know but I think it's their political lobby AIPAC. It's the most powerful lobby in the US. Basically, our leaders are afraid of them.

Well, all the b@tthurt folks would be REALLY whiny if we lost any and all influence over Israel.....that is what the aid buys.
You see, the war that is going on over between Israel and the Headchoppers.....it would get a LOT nastier on Israel's behalf if the USA lost some sort of influence over them.
It is a WAR! Look at what ISIS is doing in the ME, that is what the Headchoppers in GAZA desire to do to Israel.

Actually, I don't believe that it is our responsibility to support Israel. They're smart people and fully capable of taking care of themselves. America has a duty to America, period. I'm not for them or against them. I just don't think they're any of America's business.
