That's the price you pay for living in a free society, get over it.
Those choices should include who to marry, what to smoke, whether to treat sex as a commodity, and whether we want to get an abortion or not. Right?

Attack the sugar industry while corn syrup is even more unhealthy for you. I guess we know who the corn growers own.

Instead of a tax, how about removing the price supports on sugar, tariffs on imported sugar, and the Cuban embargo?

That would enrage Big Sugar even more, if that's what she wants.

You should not be drinking that shyte. The new V8 fusion 100% juice is great. 1.36 liters is $2.50 on sale, but you are what you eat. 8 oz. serving contains a full serving of both veggies and fruit. How much is your health worth? I only drink V8 and Ocean Spray 100% juice, along with plain water, and closing in on 60 yrs old can still run a 3 hour marathon (26.2 miles).

Perhaps she should start by not allowing EBT to be used for soda and other junk food. Women on SNAP have higher obesity rates than other women. The link for men is not as clear.
Since the government, by way of the taxpayers, is paying for the food, and in many cases the healthcare of these people, that seems like a reasonable place to start.

Agreed 100%, but of course the Fanjuls of FL are never going to let that happen, and they have their tentacles deep into both parties.

Tax my tea, you'll see this ole woman go nuts. It's just tea, not Sweet tea... It should ALWAYS be sweet! Bless Ms. DeLauro's heart......
