Kurdish members of Iraq’s Yezidi religious minority in Sinjar are being massacred by ISIS if they refuse to convert to Islam. They’re ancient fire-worshipers with roots in Zoroastrianism and they long predate the Koran.

More than 300 of them so far have been murdered for their religion alone.
Killings of this sort on a large scale are called genocide.

Has King Obama said anything about this? Or isn't it as important as a domestic criminal case like the one involving George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin?

What should Obama say?

Would you like the truth?

That this is the result of overthrowing a government and making NO plans what to do after that action?

Or would you then be whining he's apologizing again?

You are about to be viciously attacked. (1) The lefties on here care absolutely nothing about the plight of the people in other countries and (2) you are casting a shadow over their Dali-Obama.

BULL!

IF the righties gave a rat's ass about the "plight of the people in other countries" they never would have taken out Iraq's government without planning for its future. The real shame here is the self-Righteous hypocrites run screaming SOCIALISM! in terror at the mere mention of buying a BandAid for an American while they happily go halfway around the world building hospitals, schools, other infrastructure to replace what they destroyed for no good reason.

BTW, please point out WHERE the Constitution tasks the US government with monitoring/improving the "plight of the people in other countries"?

I'm not sure what you are getting at. In June, for instance, President Obama addressed the ISIS situation and announced sending 300 military advisers to Iraq:

Obama announces military advisers going to Iraq - CNN.com

I believe yesterday a US representative at the UN addressed the issue.

What, if you were President, would you do? Send thousands of US military personnel to the area to fight ISIS?

I say: let the Kurds, Iraqis, Syrians, etc, fight them.

"The right" wasn't in charge when Iraq fell apart.

Your idiot-king Obama was in charge, sadly. All the petulant little twit had to do is negotiate a status of forces agreement in Iraq, yet he is so stupid, out-of-touch and incompetent that he couldn't even do that.

The slaughter of minorities in Iraq is 100% the responsibility of Obama and the people who put him in office.

Nice try attempting to blame others not in power though. I guess it's really your only option.

What is going on in Iraq is a direct result of us INVADING Iraq in the first place. It was a clusterf*** from the start. How long do you think our troops should have remained in Iraq policing a Civil War?? 2 more years? 5 years? 10 years?? Till long after everyone posting on this board is dead?? Enough was enough we were there for almost 10 years and should have never gone there in the first place. It was long past time to GTFO.

What a load of self-Righteous delusion.

Iraq started downhill the day Saddam was ousted and no plans were in place for the next step. The seeds for today were planted the day we made the decision to invade/occupy Iraq with no planning for what came after.

So to review--W invades a sovereign nation for absolutely no good reason. His invasion takes out the government, leaving a power vacuum. He does this with no plans on how to fill that void, no plans, in fact, beyond shock and awe and mission accomplished. The country, predictably, falls into chaos, allowing a group like ISIS to waltz in and take control.

Of course, to the right wingers, it's all Obama's fault. He should have found a way to put the country back together after the idiot before him, wantonly and without any thought of the consequences, destroyed it.

Have I left anything out of your "argument"?

Yes, you conveniently left out the fact that when Bush left office, the women in Iraq could go to school, take part in government, speak more freely and vote.

The vacuum left by Obama has led to the slaughter of Christians, the execution of ISIS opposition, the mutilation of the female's sexual organs, the extortion of an individual's wealth by ISIS.
