They kicked a lying dog. What'd they expect back in return? Smiles and a tickling match? The "Palestinians", if they truly want peace, would turn over terrorists or go vigilante on Hamas, and rid themselves of those cowardly vermin. Until they stop allowing them to hide amongst heavily-populated civilian areas, there will unfortunately continue to be civilian casualties.

Rocket fire from Gaza started in 2001 and only in 2007 did Israel start to restrict the flow of goods into Gaza in effort to stop the military-built up of the terrorists in Gaza. So I think Hamas is the only group to blame for the current suffering on both sides as it continues to launch rockets at Israeli residents.
